Hiraeth's flying islands are places always looked upon as whimsical and beyond the understanding of the common folk, much like the Fae Realm and other worldly places. One place always living in the minds of daydreamers is the Hanging Gardens, a flying island said to be completely overrun with flowers from all across the world, as well as some rarities that only bloom above the clouds. This place would be the perfect place for a tea party, and it is often reserved for the Princess Fish who live there. Floating elegantly through the air, the Princess Fish hold a regality that other animals respect, often giving them space as they come down to land. They gather together to drink nectar and honey while mingling and chirping with one another, only those magically inclined being able to understand their gossip.
Princess Fish try to always remain calm and composed, but if any monster or beast interrupts their soirée, they can call in harrowing judgment. Princess Fish can launch a volley of different spells from each silky tentacle, calling in fire, water, lightning, and any other element that can be formed into a bolt. They are even said to be able to summon familiars in the form of birds and other flying creatures, as well channel devastating eruptions in the sky if they link arms together. Once the chaos is cleared they go back to their chatter as if everything is normal. Any travellers who stumble upon a Princess Fish party are safe and welcome to join as long as they keep their manners in check.
